VISIT OF SIR JAMES PARR. .MEETING WITH ARAB LEADERS* (Received May 10, 8.37 p.m.) A. and N.Z.-Sun. JERUSALEM, May 9. The Australian and New Zealand representatives visited the Air Force mess at Amman. The High Commissioner for New Zealand, Sir James Parr, commented on the striking sight of a detachment of the British Air Force in such a remote region. Later on the party visited the Emir Abdullah, with whom they took coffee and chatted for 20 minutes. Among the notable people who were introduced was one man who was described as th'j "champion looter" for 1000 miles around.
