LOST ON TARARUAS.
QUEST FOR THE MISSING. NO TRACE YET FOUND. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WELLINGTON. Tuesday. Although strong parties are still assisting in the search for Desmond Scanlon and Roy Diedirich, who set out from Levin on April 14 to cross the Tararua Range to the Wairarapa up to a late hour to-night no news of the missing lads had been received. The police at Masterton and Levin reported that some of the search parties had returned after an unsuccessful quest. The searchers have encountered very rough .weather„
