MANAGERS' REPORTS. Now Waiotahi.-—The drive hi'llward on the Waiotahi-Cambria reef has' been extended 10ft. for tho week, on the course of the break. The country rock on the footwall side is a mild andesite carrying mineral seams, and a little water is making in the floor of the drive, evidently coming from the break. Tho drive on the main reef from the bottom of tho winze has been extended 4ft. The quartz is carrying iron pyrites, zinc blond, and silica. The footwall country is interlaced with mineral seams and quartz veins. Maoriland Consolidated. —Tho drive on the reef in No. 4 level has been advanced 6ft., making a total distance of 10ft. There is no appreciable change in tho nature of the reef. Moanataiari. —The seaward drive has been advanced 9ft., making a total of 48ft. from tho starting of tho contract. Gold has been seen at every brealtingidown, and on Saturday about 4lb. of good picked stone was secured from this face. The hilhvard drive has been advanced Bft., making a total of 43ft. The ore body is wider than the drive and good dabs of gold have been seen in the mineralised ore. The total distance driven on the reef from seaward to hillward face is 113 ft. and- gold has been seen for the whole of this distance. The winze is now down 91ft The reef shows a very strong body of ore, and good dabs of gold have been seen in breaking to ore out. 8 Hauraki Mines.—Tho manager telegraphed yesterday that the water had been lowered to 46ft. below the 160 ft. level. Tho machinery was working well.
