AUTUMN VOCABULARY.
The following are a few of Dame Fashion's additions to her vocabulary this autumn:— Chattaigny.—A new tint, a pretty brown, shading into white, used for dyeing coney furs. Crepe la Belle. —A light-weight and supple wool crepe de chine. Orespa Clo'.h. —A heavy-weight Milanese fabric. Devon Soil.—A new shade of brown with an amply descriptive name. Locarno.—A new shade of green. Mauveglow. —A new castor shade. Otterneau. —An imitation of beaver fur for trimming purposes. Trout Kid. —A new fur in silver grey with black markings. Velours Velveteen.—A fabric having an artificial silk pile on a velveteen foundation.
