SWEDISH COUNT MISSING.
FORTUNE AWAITING HEIR. CONSUL OFFERS A REWARD. FAMILY NOW DESTITUTE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrisrht. i (Received April <5, 5.5 p.m.) A. and N.Z. SYDNEY, April 6. The Swedish Consul at Sydney is' offering a reward of £SO to anyone who will bring him into touch with Count Goran Falkenberg, aged 23, the heir of an ancient Swedish family, the members of which were prominent in public life some years ago. The family estates had to be sold. The count felt this so keenly -that he left home and joined a training ship which visited Australia, where he deserted. Since that time the count has not communicated with his family, but inquiries have shown that he led a roving life in Australia. In 1925 he was working as a road hand in New South Wales. Then he went to Queensland, where he is now believed to be. A few months ago his father, Major Count Falkenberg, died and Goran inherited the title and an income of between £4OOO and £SOOO a year. As the estate is entailed no one but the missing count can touch it. In the meantime his mother and the younger members of the family are reported to be practically destitute.
