FACTORY MANAGERS MEET. [BY TEEEGItAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] MOREINSYILLE, Tuesday.. A meeting of the Auckland Provincial Executive of the New Zealand Dairy Factory Managers' Association was held at MomnsvOle and attended by Messrs. E. Harris (Waitoa), A. M. Sterling {Morrinsviile Co-operative Dairy Company), C. Colson (Tatua), F. M. TunneciiSe (Ivatikati), P. C. H. Peters (Cambridge) and E. McMasters (secretary!. The president suggested that a New Zealand technical dairy conference be held in some central place, the conference to last, say, a week. On the motion of -Mr. Sterling it was decided that a three days meeting be held at Auckland in April, under the auspices of the Auckland branch of the Dairy Factory Managers' Association, to discuss the question of scientific research in connection with the dairy industry, and that they invite representatives of the Department of Agriculture, the dairy division | and of the University of New Zealand to [ attend. A committee was appointed to | draw up an agenda. j It wan agreed to ask Professor Riddett i to attend a conference in Waifcato Winter j Show week to read a paper on the " Man- | tiring of Pastures—Relation to Flowers in j Batter and Cheese."
