SIR ADOLF TUCK'S WILL.
BEQUESTS TO CHARiTY. Charitable bequests amounting to many thousands of pounds were a feature of the will of Sir Adolf Tuck, of London, managing diretcor of the famous Christmas and picture postcard firm. The gross value of unsettled property is £321,638. By a curious coincidence the will was made public on Christmas Eve. Sir Adolf left £4OOO to his son for distribution to charitable institutions in London and Jerusalem, £SOO each to King Edward's Hospital Fund, the Jewish Board of Guardians, and the Jews" College, and smaller amounts to scores of charities. He also left to each of his servants (whether domestic or employed and living outside his residence) in his service at his decease, one year s wages if of seven years' service, and one month's wages if of less. Sir Adolf directed that his remains should be cremated. "Believing as I do that the human body, when it had ceased to be the habitation of the soul, should be reduced as soon as practicable to the dust to which it must ultimately turn." There was also a proviso in the will that any child marrying a person not of the Jewish faith should forfeit all interest under the will.
