TEACHERS IN CAMP.

CAMBRIDGE SUMMER SCHOOL. DOMINION MOVEMENT MOOTED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] CAMBRIDGE. Friday. At a well-attended meeting of the Sumner School Executive r.nd teachers, the future movement was fully discussed. Mr. J. Caughley, retiring director of Education, s; oke enthusiastically of the movement and outlined the future possibilities of such gatherings. It was resolved that the Summer school movement should continue on the same broad lines and with the same cultural objectives, and also that the movement should be developed as a r "> minion one, as opposed to insular or provincial organisations. It was agreed that the next school be held at tho most convenient centre in the South Island as an experimental venture to test the advisability of a national organisation. The general executive was impowered to select the location nd establish a local organisation. The following officers were elected:— Patron, the Governor-General; president, Mr. F. Milner, Waitaki Boys' High School; vice president, Mr. I). Rae, At kland Executive Committee, Miss Hume and Messrs. 11. G. Johnston, G. 11. Stubbs and S. Walker. The final lectures in nnection with the summer school here were given today and camp will be struck to-morrow. The venture has been a great success.
