PLAINTIFF WINS HER CASE. SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGES GIVEN. A, and N.Z. LONDON, Jan. 19. Mrs. Fox-Pitt, who was summarily dismissed by the dressmaking firm of Paquins, Ltd., from her very highly-paid position of dress designer, was awarded the sum of £1.895 damages in her action against the firm for damages for her dismissal. Her salary was £15,000 a year, with many allowances.
