OTAHUHU TROTTING CLUB.

SUMMER PROGRAMME. Tlio Otahuhu Trotting Club has fixed its summer meeting to be held at Alexandra Park on Saturday and Wednesday, February 19 and 23. and. with prize-money to tho amount of £BISO offered for competition, it can be regarded as quite certain that the programme will receive marked attention in many quarters beyond the local area. The leading event of the programme is the Otahuhu Trotting Cup, which carries prizemoney to the amount of £IOOO, in addition to a gold cup of tho value of lOOgus. The Dominion Handicap, which figures as the leading event on tho second day, is worth £IOOO, and with no race of a less value than £3OO figuring on the programme there is an array of figures calculated to gladden the minds of horseowners. From the programme, which will be found published in full in another column, it will be seen that nominations for all events close on Friday, February 1, at 5 p.m., with the secretary, Mr. R. L. Absolum.
