Twenty-seven lives were' lost in a boating tragedy in the Hudson River this morning. A 60ft. launch carrying a large runnier of employees of the New Jersey bread factory to work capsiaed among" kc tjocs in the river. Twenty-five were rescued and taken to hospital suffering from the effects of titeir immersion. Many nodies have been recovered. About half of the occupants of the launch wero negroes.
