MAORI FOOTBALLERS.
TEAM TO REPRESENT FRANCE EXPERIENCED MEN CHOSEN. A. and N.Z. PARIS, Dec. 20. The failure of the experimental team of young French players against the Maoris at Beziers, and the display of the veteran Dupont, who pulled the side together and was also largely responsible for the French points, has caused the selectors to choose a tcajn of veterans to meet the Maoris in the international game at Paris on December 29. u The team consists of Destarac, Jaurreguy, Baillette, Graciet, Velat, Dumanoir, Bader, Ribeyre, Piquiral, Pravost, Cassar yet, Bousquet, Seyroux, Gonnet and Etcheberry. The reserves include Dupont, Behetogny and Ghiko. The new international players in the team are Velat, Bader, Prevost and Bousquet. The newspapers are doubtful if even such an experienced combination will be able to defeat the Maoris.
