According to wireless advice received by the Naval Department, the Admiralty oil tanker Nucula will arrive from San Pedro at seven o'clock to-morrow morning. She is bringing a full cargo of oil fuel for the cruisers Dunedin and Diomede. SUSSEX LEAVES SIAMARANG. Advice received by the local office of the Union Company states that the Sussex, vn route from Calcutta and Singapore, sailed from Samarang last Monday for New Zealand and that she is duo at Auckland on January 8. THE WAIRUNA. The Union Compaq's Trans-Pacific steamer Wairuna, en route from San Francisco. has reported by wireless that she will arrive next Tuesday. She is bringing case oil arid general merchandise from Pacific Coast ports for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. PAKEHA FROM LIVERPOOL. With general merchandise from West of England ports the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Pakeha was to leave Liverpool yesterday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland on January 28. HINEMOA DUE fO-MORROW. From Niue Island and Fiji the Government steamer Hinenioa is due at daybreak to-morrow, according to wireless advice received by Spedding, Ltd., the local agents. The vessel will berth at Central Wharf. At noon next she is to be despatched for Norfolk Island. MAUNGANUI IN PORT. The Maunganui arrived yesterday morning from Sydney and berthed at Central Wharf. At three o'clock on Friday afternoon Bhe i 3 to be despatched on her return journey to Sydney. MATAKANA DUE TO-MORROW. L. D. Nathan and Company, Ltd., advise that the Shaw. Savill and Albion steamer Matakana, en route from Newcastle, has reported by wireless that she will reach Auckland at six o'clock to-mor-row morning. She will commence loading New Zealand produce at this port for England. Afterwards she goes to Wanganui, Picton and Wellington to complete her cargo. THE PORT MELBOURNE. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Melbourne, which is coming to Auckland to complete discharging cargo from London and . to commence loading for her Home voyage, is now expected to leave New Plymouth to-morrow and reach Auckland on Saturday. Kay, H. V. Kingsford, G. M. Paterson. NEW TANKER PULPIT POINT. The Vacuum Oil Company's new tanker Pulpit Point arrived yesterday morning from San Pedro and berthed at Western Wharf. After pumping 2200 tons of oil in the company's tanks at Freeman's Bay she is to sail early this morning for Sydney and Adelaide to complete discharge. Hie Pulpit .Point and her sister ship the Plume wei'Q built recently at.Glasgow for the company s Australian and New Zealand trade. The Pulpit Point went .from Glasgow to San Pedro, via Philadelphia. At San Pedro she took on board 10,200 tons of oil cargo and 2000 tons for her own bunkers. She sailed for New Zealand on November 25. Fine weather prevailed on the voyage except during the last week, when the vessel was beset by strong south-east winds and rough head seas. The Pulpit Point is one of the most tip-to-date tankers afloat. She is a singlescrew oil-burning vessel with/the. engines aft. The oil cargo is carried in nine tanks and in addition the vessel has a hold forward for carrying about 1000 tons of general cargo or case - oil. The officers have very roomy quarters panelled in oak and the chart room contains all the lates 1 ; devices for aids to navigation. The crew numbers 40 all told, of whom 31 are Chinese. Captain T. H.
