The seventeen horses paid up for in connection with the Auckland Cub on acceptance day .hold their places in the big race, and the outlook fcr a magnificent contest is well assured. The Canterbury contingent engaged at the Auckland Trotting Club's Summer Meeting is expected to reach Auckland tomorrow. and training operations at Epsom will then be considerably enlivened.
