Upon arriving home' with his wife Colonel-Christie locked and barred the lodgo gates and refused all information. He added that his wife now had a faint idea of her identity and was beginning to realise that.he was her husband. She refused all offers fpr the story she had to r<'te. The police searched the room at tne Harrogate hotel occupied by Mrs. Chrisliie. They found a bottle and a pile of detective novels.
