THE HOLIDAY TRAFFIC.
RUSH NOT YET SET IN. Compared with this time last year the volume of holiday traffic being handled at the Auckland Railway Station is not large. It is not expected last year's business will be exceeded, as the Dunedin Exhibition proved a great source of attraction for holiday makers, who commenced to leave for the South earlier than usual. However, there has been a noticeable increase in travellers from Auckland during the past week, and both expresses left for the South well-filled last evening, two extra carriages being required on the second train.
