•'WHISPERING GALLERY" CASE CHARGE AGAINST PEARSON. A. and N.Z. LONDON, Dec, 12. The hearing of the charge of" alleged false pretences against Hesketh Pearson 3 literary agent, and author of the book, " Whispering Gallery," which caused a sensation three weeks ago and was withdrawn by the publishers, was resumed yesterday and further adjourned. Sir Rennell Bodd, the noted diplomat, gave"evidence that he had never met the accused, and had not supplied him with his diaries or anything else for publication.
