COACHING DAYS REVIVED.
OLD VEHICLE REAPPEARS. [|Y TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.} CHRI3TCHUECE, Monday. Memories of the good old pre-mok# days were awakened when a coach and four was seen in the _ city streets. It was the first official drive oi the coach which has been purchased by the Christchurch Coaching Club. _ The public displayed much interest in tfye vehicle, which is over 40 years old. The object of the club is to keep alive an interest in coaching. The driver was Mr. W. Campbell, who was well-known on the run from Arthur's Pass in the coach ng daysIt is the intention of the club to have » series of drives for city sightseers. It « hoped to take the Duke and Duchess of York for a drive during their visit to Christchurch.
