A DOUBLE TRAGEDY.

DEATH OF MOTHER AND SON. INDICATIONS OF POISONING. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association; (Reed. 1 a.m.) SYDNEY, Dec. 12. A mysterious double tragedy occurred at Dulwich Hill. Dr. J. A. Paling, aged 30, and his mother were found dead in the mother's bedroom. There were syringes and morphia tubes on the table. Although the doctor had a good practice he had been an invalid for years. A j- niece living with him heard the doctor, early in the morning, go to his mother's room. Then there was quietness. Becoming a.l£jrmed the niece rang up two other doctors, who broke open the door. They found the mother lying on the, bed and the son on the floor, both dead. It is believed they were poisoned.
