According to official figures there were 590 bankruptcies registered in the Dominion during the ten months to October 31, which contrasts with 524 in the corresponding term of last year. This gives an increase of 66 and is equal to about 13 per cent. The monthly figures which are given below, indicate that it is in the second half of the year that the bankruptcies increase : 3920. 1925.
