LAMB STEAMER OMANA. Tbe Lamb steamer Omana returned from Tauranga yesterday morning to complete unloading poles and to load a quantity of timber for Australia. The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Runpehu, which sailed _ from Auckland on November 17 for Glasgow, Avonmouth, Liverpool and London, is reported to have reached Panama last Thursday. TRELEVAN FROM NEW YORK. ,I'ha New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the A. and A. Line's chartered steamer Trelevan was despatched from New York on December 8 with case oil and general merchandise for discharge at Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton, Dunedin and Tasmania. She is due at Auckland ■on January 16. MAKO AND AWAHOU. ' The Richardson steamers Mako and Awahou arrived from the Coast during the week-end, the Mako on Saturday and the Awahou yesterday. They berthed at Central Wharf. Both steamers are to sail tomorrow evening, the Awnhou for Tokoiriaru Bay and Gisborne and the Mako for East Coast bays, Napier and Wairoa. THE MATAROA. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Mataroa was due at Wellington last evening with passengers and cargo from London and Southampton. She is to sail for Auckland to-day to landt passengers and cargo for this i>ort. Afterwards she returns to Wellington to complete discharge. L. D. Nathan and Company, Limited, are the local agents.

PULPIT POINT FROM SAN PEDRO. Reported to have sailed from San Pedro on November 27, the Vacuum Oil Company's tanker Pulpit Point is expected at Auckland early next week. She is bringing - oil for discharge at Auckland, Sydney and Adelaide. The Pulpit Point is ft new vessel, having been launched at Port Glasgow last August. She is 476 ft. Ion? overall and 62ft. 6in. moulded breadth. Her dgad'Weight carrying capacity is 22,800 tons on a 28ft. draught.

Running under the auspices of the New Zealand Shipping Company's Eastern Canadian service the steamer Mernoo 13 expected at Auckland from Montreal on Wednesday.. She will also unload at Wellington, Picton, Brisbane and Sydney, A.A. AND O. STEAMERS. The American, Australian and Orient Line steamer Dowey is to sail to-morrow for Wellington. She is to sail for Tokomaru Bay, Gisborne and Napier at five o'clock to-morrow evening. The Union Company advises that next week the Wainui will leave Auckland on Monday and will work through to all ports a day earlier than usual. The following week she will not proceed south of Gisborne. She will leave Auckland on the Monday for Tokomaru Bay and Gisborne, and leave Gisborne on December 30 for her return journey to Auckland. NORTHERN COMPANY'S VESSELS. The Northern Company advises that some of its steanigrs will commence their summer time-tables this week. The Clansman leaving to-day and also on Friday, will continue to make two trips a week to Russell and Nprthern ports. The Rangitoto, after overhaul, has resumed running and will make daily trips to Thames.

The Ngatiawa, which has been relieving tho Rangitoto, is to sail for the Great Barrier on Wednesday night. She is due back at Auckland on Thursday and on Friday she is to be despatched for Parengarenga and Northern ports. The Waiuku is to be recommissioned on Wednesday and afterwards she will run a daily service to Waiheke. The Matangi will continue to make three trips a week to Taurangra, leaving .Auckland on Monday, Wednesday .and Friday. At four g'clock this aft&rnoon the Motu is to be despatched for Whakatane. the Otimai for Ono tiki and Kutarere, and the Tuhoe for Whananaki. Kerikeri and other Northern ports.
