YOUNG DUNEDIN CHAMPION. TWO MORE RECORDS BROKEN. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, Sunday. At the Otago swimming championship carnival last evening L. Olds broke the junior record for 50yds. by one second, his time being 30s. Later he swam 220 yds in 2m 545, thus breaking the record, 3m 5 l-ss, established by him at Napier last year. THE MOUNT EDEN CLUB. The Mount Eden Amateur Swimming Chib will hold its first carnival of the season at the Mount Eden Baths this evening. ) An interesting series of swimming, diving and- water-polo events iis assured as the entries are large and include several New Zealand champions. The ladies' race should be particularly execiting while the appearance. of the Dominion distance champion, Baird, _ and his rival, Bridson, is another attraction.
