TEAM TO TOUR SOUTH. AUCKLAND REPRESENTATIVES. Tho team upon whoso performances Auckland's Plunket Shield aspirations in tho matches against Canterbury and Otago will depend has been, selected by Messrs. N. C. Snedden, B. C. Beale and G. B. Cnmmings. The following twelve players, have been chosen:— C. F. W. Allcot-t (Grafton), E. H. Bowley (Y.M.C.A.), I. W. Cooper (Eden), C. C. Dacre (North Shore). R. E. Frater (North Shore), J. P. Gerrard (North Shore), H. D. Gillespie (Eden). A. E. Anthony (Parnell), A. M. Matheson (University), J. E. Mills (Eden), A. S. Player (North Shore), R. W. Rowntree (Grafton). A. Anthony, D. R. Garrard, S. G. Smith and N. C. Snedden were not available. It is understood that E. Horspool was riot considered for selection owing to a recent illness making him unfit for a strenuous tour. The team, with Mr. R. Dow as manager, will leave Auckland on December 21. Plunket Shield matches, which must be played out, will be played against Canterbury at Lancaster Park, Christchurch, on December 25. 27 and 28. and against Otago at Carisbrook, Dunedin,' on January 1, S and 4. A match—not a Plunket Shield fixture —will be played against Wellington at the Basin Reserve, Wellington, on January 7, 8 and 10, and possibly the following day, as it is desired to play the match to a finish if practicable. The team will return to Auckland on January 12. The team will practise at Eden .Park to-morrow, Wednesday and Thursday. GRAMMAR SCHOOL'S WIN. KING'S BEATEN BY 243 RUNS. A decisive win was by Auckland Grammar School against King's College on Saturday, in the final match of the third round of the secondary schools' championship. Grammar School scored 347 runs for seven wickets (Whitelaw 130, Sutherland 62, Schnauer 41, Cashmore 23, Frazer 19). Bowling for King's College Holloway took three wickets for 86 runs, arid Lusk two for 67. King's College scored 104 runs (Gillett 32, Smith 27). Wilson took four wickets for 19 runs, Schnauer three for 21, and Chapman two for 24. . SCHOOLBOYS' MATCHES. TEAMS FOR TO-MORROW. Representatives of the Primary Schools' Cricket Association to play boys under 16 of the Mount Albert Grammar School at Eden Park to-morrow are as follow: Marvin, Brooker, Knight, Hill, Jeissup, Chambers, McLachlan, Haywood, Vipond, Ryder, Sampson, Hart, Turner. _ The following team will play Auckland Grammar School on the school grounds tomorrow morning, starting at ten o'clock:— Mills, Cleal, Everitt, Horspool, Oldbury, Burton, Wallace, Mills. Senior cricket matches in Wellington yesterday resulted:—University v. Y.M.C.A.: The latter's first innings yielded 137. University lost six wickets for 320 and declared (Hollings 124, Tripe 58, Leys 50). A threepoint win for University. Old Boys v. Institute.—The latter's first innings produced 389, and Old Boys'. first effort yielded 244 (Ronaldson 73, Dustin 38 not out, James 28). Bowling for Institute, Massey took five wickets for 72 runs, Institute obtain a three-point win.

Thorndon v. Kilbirnie.—The former had made 254 in the first innings. Kilbirnie's first innings yielded 288 121. Armstrong 27, Morris 26. Redmond 26). Bowling for Thorndon. Carisbrook scored 303 (Blunt 175, Cantrell 38) against Dunedin, who lost two wickets for 46 (Strang, not out), 28. This is Blunt's second century in consecutive matches. He compiled 102 in the previous match. Albion made 172 against Grange (Blair 37, Duncan 36, Askie 21). When stumps were drawn Grange had lost three wickets for 107 (McMullan 52. Conradi 32, Alloo 12 not out). PUKEKOHE REPRESENTATIVES. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] PUKEKOHE. Saturday. The Pukekohe Cricket Association held a Possible v. Probables match this afternoon. Possibles batted first and made 75 runs (Eapi Nabon 12. Fox 10. Drake 10). Probables replied with 121 runs (C. Lawrie not out 30. Rose retired 25. Inman 16, Hickling 11. A. Schlaepfer 10. G. Lawrie 10). For Probables, C. Lawfie took two wickets for one run, Pleydell five for 17, G. Lawrie one for 3, and Hickling two for 30. For Possibles Roulston took two for 22, Eapi Nabon two for 23. Drake two for 24, Johns one for 12. Fox one for 13, and Bonner tme for 23. In the Piako Cricket Association championship competition to-day Moarinsville, 73 (Palmer 25, McPherson 26), defeated Te Aroha B, 49 (Stoupe 13, Stanley 18). To Aroha A. 60 (Bioyd 17. Mcßeth 11, Gemrneil 14), defeated Waitoa. 59 (Gillilsmd 10. Hartson 14). Bowling for Te Aroha, A. Jamieson took six wickets for 20 runs. For Waitoa Perry took two for 8 and Farrow one for 2. For Morrinsville Mc'lntyre, with four wickets for 16, was the most successful bowler.
