THE GREAT SOUTH ROAD. WQRK AT MANUREWA. The proposal of the Manurewa Town Board to raise a loan of £7500 to complete two , miles of concrete on the Great South Road was carried by a majority of 52 votes. Little. interest was shown in the poll, only 56 ratepayers on a roll oi: 600 voting. When the work on this section is completed the whole length of the road between Otahuhu and Papakura will be in concrete.
