A DIMINISHING ESTATE.
It was the fate of a Lancashire man, whose will was published recently, to have lived longer than he expected. He was Mr. Thomas Blakey, of Welbork Road, Blrkdale, Southport, who died, nged 96, He teff estate of the gross value of £BOOS, with net personality £7£Bl. .Testator left an annui'v of £SOO to his "wife, and property in Southport In trust for his four daughters. The testator explainer! f " I have made no provision for my two sons, as they are now established in business, and as the value of money has so much decreased, owing to the war, and I have lived longer than I expetted, and have seen the value of what I have to leave diminishing rapidly, I feel sure that my sons will see the reasonableness of this, and will agree with what I have done,"
