FIGHT WITH A SHARK.
Attacked by a shark, 12ft. long, a boat's crew of four, fishing off the island of Innisfree, near Arranmore, had a thrilling adventure. With only the oars as weapons, the men managed to keep the shark at bay for two miles. One of the men broke his oar, and another dropped his into the sea. The shark, when beat 4 off one side of the boat, dived under and renewed the attack from the other fjide. The fight lasted an hour, then the shark took to the open sea.
