SWIMMING.
THE MOUNT EDEN CLUB. The Mount Eden Swimming Club will open its season with a carnival at the Mount Edon Baths on Monday, December 13. A very fine programme of swimming, diving and novelty events has been arranged. The 220 yds. and 100 yds. interclub handicaps should attract large entries, and with Baird and Bridson tak ing part some fine racing should be seen. Other events on the programme include the 100 yds. ladies', 150 yds. breastroke novice and junior boys' and girls' handicaps. Nominations will close at the Tepid Baths next Thursday.
