MR. COATES AT HOME.
FREEMAN OF KiDDERMINSTER VIEWS ON ECONOMIC PROBLEMS. Australian and N.Z. Cable. Association. (Reed. 8.35 p.m.)" LONDON. Dec. 1. The Prime Ministers of New Zealand and Australia, Messrs. J. G. Coates and S. M. Bruce*, to-day visited Kidderminster. They were presented with the freedom of the city. In replying, Mr. Coates said Few Zealand would help Britain not only in times of crisis, but to solve her economic problems until the Empire became what they all wanted it to become, namely, the greatest ftittj freest of all modern institutions.
"Is your machinery as modern as it might be?" asked Mr. Coates. " With . your wealth, yonr machinery and your knowledge, extending over many generations, are you getting art adequate returi)., or are others getting ahead of you? Sou must have an adequate selling organisation. My advice is to do all you can to see that markets take your goods."
