Objects: To carry out an agreement with the Whangarei Limestone Company, Ltd . and to quarry and market clay, limestone, cement, ore, etc. Capital: £350,000 in £1 shares. Subscribers: Joseph G. Ward and G. Shirtcliffe, merchants, Wellington, Frederick Earl, barrister, Auckland; George R. W. McDonald, company director, Sydney; and William D. Stewart, company superintendent; Cedric W. Salmon, civil engineer; John M. A. Hott. company director; Hubert L. Nathan, sharebroker; Frank R. Hogarth, retired merchant; and John J. Williamson, farmer, of Wellington; one share each.
