RUGBY LEAGUE GAME.

ENGLISH COUNCIL MEETS. INTERESTS OF DOMINIONS. A. and N.Z. LONDON. Nov. 24. The council of the English Rugby League to-day discussed the agreement with the Australian Board and the New Zealand League with respect to the two years' residential qualification. The matter was deferred until the next meeting on December 12. The council also considered Australia's invitation to send out a team in 1928. It appointed a sub-committee to discuss matters of mutual interest with the managers of the New Zealand touring team before their departure by the Cathay, on January 28.

TWO NEW FIXTURES.

Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 24. The New Zealand Rugby League team will play in Lancashire on January 3, and in a charity match at Harrogate on December 29.
