SIR ALAN COBHAM.
ARRIVAL IN AMERICA
RECEPTION AT NEW YORK
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 9.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, Nov. 25. Sir Alan and Lady Cobham have arrived at the New York quarantine station on board the liner Homeric. To-morrow they will fly over the city in a small aeroplane and land at the Battery, where they will be met by members of the Aeronautical Association and the Chamber of Commerce.
The visitors will then proceed to the Hotel Waldorf Astoria, where a dinner will be given in their honour.
PRIVATE COMPANY FORMED. MANUFACTURE OF AIRCRAFT. A. and N.Z. LONDON. Nov. 24. With a nominal capital of £IOOO a private company, " Alan Cobham Aviation, Limited," has been formed. The company proposes to make aeroplanes, airships and aerobuses. Sir Alan Cobham is a permanent director.
