CYCLIST ACCIDENTS.

MAN SERIOUSLY INJURED. KNOCKED DOWN AT OTAHUHU. Through being knocked down by a bicycle early last evening, Mr. Samuel Jones, aged 54, of Hutton Street, Otabuhu, was admitted to the Auckland Hospital unconscious. It is understood that Mr. Jones was crossing the main street at Otahahu -on his way to a euchre party when the accident occurred. On admission to hospital an operation was performed, and at a Jate hour the injured man's condition was reported to be fairly serious. COLLISION WITH MOTOR-VAN. EIDER UNCONSCIOUS FOR DAY. [bt telegraph.—own correspondent.] CHBISTCHUBCH. Friday. Stephen Payne, of Woolston, was. cycling across the intersection of Linwood Avenue and Cashel Street yesterday when he collided with a motor-van. He was admitted to the hospital unconscious and has remained so since. The fall extent of his injuries is not known.
