MARYLEBONE CRICKETERS. ANOTHER DRAW IN INDIA. ! ' » —— A. and N.Z. DELHI, Nov. 14. The Marylebone Cricket Club's touring team played, a match against a team representing the Army in India, at Lahore. Like all the other fixtures, except one three-days' match at Karachi, the game ended in a draw, much in favour of the visitors. Army's second innings was characterised by a stand for 126 for the second wicket and a score of 94 by Andson. Both are records against Marylebone. Sandham scored his third century and has*now an average of 110. f - RUGBY FOOTBALL RULES. SUGGESTED ALTERATIONS. A. and N.Z. LONDON, Nov. 14. The Imperial Rugby Conference, at its Sitting in London, considered alterations to the rules of the game suggested by the New South Wales and New Zealand unions. It heard Dominion representatives on the subject of the formation of an Imperial Advisory Board, to include overseas delegates. Both matters were referred to the English unions and the International Board. TENNIS" PLAYER-WRITERS. PROHIBITION LAW PROPOSED. A. and N.Z. LONDON, Nov. 14. The English Lawn Tennis Association will submit to the annual meeting in December a new rule to forbid amateur players irom writing press reports or giving interviews for the same purpose in connection with tournaments, matches or competitions in which they are playing.
