Two corporation workmen made an anexpected discovery this morning when, on digging away a mound of sand alongside the track leading to the Rongotai paving plant, they uncovered a human skeleton, which apparently had been there for many yeafs. The bones were re moved to the mortuary. It is understood that several similar discoveries were made in the vicinity some years ago, and it may be that the place wa3 formerly a burial ground of the Maoris.
