Another match for the Smith-Clark Shield was played on the Te Awamutu bowling green on Saturday, Hamilton East being the challenging team. The players were:— Te Awamutu: Ross, Metcalfe, W. J. North and Hawkins. Hamilton East: Lyrnburn, Horton, Chapman and J. Priokett. The visitors maintained the lead up to the nineteenth head, but the local players scored on the last four heads and won by 21 to 17.
