FAT STOCK MARKET.

WEEKLY WESTFI ELD SALE. DECLINE IN BEEF VALUES. MUTTON PRICES MAINTAINED. Beef was penned in larger numbers at the Westfield fat stock sales yesterday, and in consequence prices were lower all round by 2s to 5s per 1001b. The decline in values was chiefly felt in the heavy cattle classes. There was a larger yarding of sheep, and although prices were maintained at about last week's values the tendency of the market was easier. Best lambs sold at about last week's rates, but ordinarywere slightly lower. There was a heavier yarding of calves, and prices showed a slight decline. Fat pigs were penned in increased numbers.
