The Management Committee* of the Auckland Rugby L«*ague met. last evening, Mr. W. J. Hammill presiding. A suggestion by Mr, .Hamniill that the amounts due to each clnb from Charity Day should be donated wholly to the St. John Ambulance Association caused considarable discussion. Mr. W. J. Davidson said , the City Club was prepared to hand over its shr.ro to ,the Ambulance Association, which had rendered splendid service to senior players during the past season. . Mr. J. J. S'ullivan said the Parnell Club had requested that the clubs should participate in the profits as usual. Mr. T. Fielding asked whether the gate takings of a Roor* Rooster final should bo riven solely to charity, or to any object the executive might each season decide. The chairman suggested that the matter should be deferred, pending a review of conditions governing the final game, and this was agreed to.
