She is to sail on Friday with passengers, mail and cargo for Auckland, where she will arrive next Tuesday. R.M.S. NIAGARA. A fine weather trip from Sydney was experienced by the Royal Mail steamer Niagara, which reached Auckland at six o'clock yesterday morning and berthed at Queen's Wharf. After loading cargo and mail and embarking passengers froin New Zealand she resumed her voyage to Vancouver, via Suva and Honolulu, in the afternoon. She is scheduled to reach Vancouver on November 12. YACHT SURPRISE ARRIVED. An unexpected arrival at Auckland s'esterday afternoon was the steam yacht Surprise from Norfolk Island. She is on a world's cruise and previously visited New Zealand in March last, when she made a prolonged stay at Wellington. Afterwards she proceeded to Sydney. Queensland and Noumea. What has hitherto been the boat-deck has been turned into an additional promenade deok. The boats have been raised and a suite of new first-class single-berth cahma have been built in the centre of the deck. These are all verv commodious and some havo nrivate bathrooms attached.
