FUNDS FOR SCHOOL.

QUEEN CARNIVAL SCHEME. About 70 parents of pupils of the Brixton Road Public School, Dominion Road,, attended a meeting last evening to discuss means of providing funds for the improvement of' the school grounds. It was decided to hold a queen carnival and tho district was separated into four divisions, each to have a representative in the competition. The campaign will be held about the end of the year.
