OUTBREAKS OF FIRE.
CONFLAGRATION IN SYDNEY. MAN SUCCUMBS TO INJURIES. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 11.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, Oct. 13. A fire occurred in the City Council's electric sub-station at the Hornebush abattoirs. Damage estimated at several thousand pounds was caused to machinery. Threo employees were injured when ighting the outbreak. Ono of them, John Arthur, succumbed to his injuries later. BUTTER FACTORY DESTROYED DAMAGE ESTIMATED AT £20,000. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 11.5 p.m.) BRISBANE. Oct. 13. "An outbreak of fire destroyed the Nanango butter factory, near Maryborough. The damage is estimated at £20,000.
