The Government meteorologist reported last evening as follows Present indications are for decreasing south-east winds, backing by east to north. Weather cold and changeable, with scattered showers in the northern and east coast districts of the North Island, but fair to cloudy elsewhere. The barometer will probably fall everywhere soon.
