ATTEMPT TO TAKE LIFE.
married mam convicted. [BY TKLTCGTUrH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. J WELLINGTON, Thursday. For having attempted to commit suicide, Frederick Charles Sibbe, a carpenter, aged 60, who appeared beforo Mr. E. Page, S.M. in the Police Court to-day, was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon within three years. Ho was also ordered to pay £8 9s expenses incurred by tho police. Sub-Inspector Harvey told the Court that Sibbo cut his throat when ho was walking along Manners Street early on the evening of September 29. Ho was a married man and had been out of employment, which ho said was the reason for his act. Tho accused had boon convicted in June, 1919, for another attempt to tako his life.
