MILLWORKER'S INJURY.
CLAIM FOR COMPENSATION.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION. ] PALMER STON NORTH. Friday. A sitting of the. Arbitration Court was held here to-day, when William Frederick Liddicoat, sawmill worker, of Raetihi, claimed compensation from Syme and Co., Ltd., sawmillers, of R&etihi and Hawera. 'Plaintiff was injured in November, 1925, and- alleged that he had been totally disabled from working ever since. The defendant company contended that the period of disablement ended on May 24. since when plaintiff had been fully capable of resuming duties. The Court, after hearing evidence, decided to award compensation from the time of the accident to date at the rate of £2 19s 2d a week, plus expenses, credit to be given for the amount_.already paid.
