FRANCE AND POLAND.
DISCUSSION OF POLICIES. AN ENTENTE POSSIBLE. LEAGUE COUNCIL COMPOSITION By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received 5.5 p.m.) Renter. PARIS, Aug. 29. The Polish Foreign Minister, M. Tialeski, has held conversations in Paris with the French Foreign Minister, M. JBriand, concerning the policy of each country. The former says he is perfectly satisfied with the results.
Policies 'had been agreed upon, and possibly a general entente might result if Viscount Cecil's proposal dealing with the composition of the Council of the League of Nations is slightly modified.
Viscount Cecil's plan for the composition of the Council of the League of Nations is that the forthcoming Assembly should elect nine non-permanent members ; three for one year, three for two years and after that three to retire each year; the Assembly to reserve the right to re-elect any nation by a two-thirds majority.
