BUTTER AND CHEESE.
LONDON MARKET DECLINES. A decline of 2s per cwt. in the price of butter is noted in a cablegram from London received yesterday by Joseph Nathan and Co., Ltd. Butter is Quoted at 168s to 170s, against 170s to 172s on August 26. The cheese market also shows a weakening tendency. White cheese is quoted at 87s, against 88s to 89s on August 26, and coloured at 84s, against 85s.
