SLIGHT DECREASE rOR WEEK. .NEARLY 20.0 WOMEN ON,. ROLL. ■ : i Little change Jias occurred : in the unemployment' situation in Auckland during •the,'past few weeks. Tho Labour Bureau reported on Saturday that the number of men seeking work was 629, a slight decrease compared with the preceding week, when there were 637 on'the roll. Darling the week work was found for 56' men.
i The number of women on t"he books was 319, and positions have been found for' 127 of these, 39 obtaining 'permanent work and 38 casual work. There are thus 192 women still . seeking work.
