The anltnals were being taken to the abattoir. Hundreds of people who'were in the vicinity-fled as the steers rusheci along the streets. Many women fainted, F,nd sonic were knocked down. A civilian, who clung to the head of a bullock as it bolted out of the building, was-injured and taken to the hospital.
