In the national tennis championships at Forest Hills to-day the final of the ■women's singles was won .by Mrs. Mallory, -who defeated Miss Elizabeth Ryan, 4—6, 6—4, 9—7. Mrs. Mallory's victory was unexpected in view of her record this season. In the final of the women's -doubles Misses Ryan and Goss defeated Miss Mary Browne and Mrs. Chapin, 3—6, 6—4, 12-10.
