WORLD'S LONGEST TUBE.
.EXTENSION IN LONDON. The whole of the permanent way of the new five-mile London tube railway* from Clapham, to Morden, has been laid,, and the elaborate system of cables lias been installed. The. rolling stock is 'of the latest type and similar to that now in use on the Hampstead and City Railways. In designing it the Underground Company had in mind the comparatively long journeys which Londoners wilLmake, and have raised; the standard, of, comfort accordingly. It will be possible to travel By tube from Morden to Edgware—a distance of 21£ miles—the longest tube ride in the world. , . ' '
