HENDERSON VALLEY ROAD.

Sir, —I read in Wednesday's Herald a letter that was aparently intended as an S.O.S. to motorists —a warning against the immediate dagger of the Henderson Valley Road. No one other than the writer of the letter seems to have any knowledge of this danger. I have personally driven my ear along Henderson Valley Road on numerous occasions and I can honestly say I have never encountered any danger approaching the risk mentioned in Mr. Phillips' letter. Considering that bus drivers to pilot their heavy buses over Valley Koad daily without accident, ono is at a loss to comprehend Mr. Phillips' reason for tendering such a warning to drivers of much smaller vehicles. Motorist and Ratepayer.
